Under The Vines, ‘Jane Austin Music’

‘Lady Sings The Blues’

Sunday 6th July, 12 noon to 3pm
In the Greenhouse

In her novels and from her letters Jane Austin allows us to glimpse her love of music. Once again we welcome pianist Stephen Hose with narrator David Freedman, (the rabbi in the 2024 West End production of Fiddler on the Roof) as they explore the music popular in Jane Austin’s life time, and especially introduces us to the music spoken of in ‘Emma’ and ‘Mansfield Park’. This entirely new programme has been devised especially for West Green House to mark the Jane Austin’s 250 Aniversary. Jane Austin was born not far from West Green, so we have chosen a menu featuring the excellent local produce this county is famed for.

£95 per person

Includes entry to the garden, car parking, welcome drink, lunch and music under the vines in our greenhouse. Wine is available to purchase.
